The emotion thesaurus is one of those needful things for authors who want to go beyond the overused words and phrases to describe the feelings of their characters. There's everything from adoration to worry, and each includes a 2 page list of useful things such as physical signals, internal sensations, mental responses, and cues of those acute or long term feelings. What are cues of suppressed emotions? Those are in there too.
I will be using this book often, especially when I go over my final rewrites for my characters. The only thing I would have changed would have been in the title. A thesaurus typically provides few helps to describe words, but this goes way beyond that. So I would have titled it: "A Writer's Guide To Character Expression", and left it at that.
Congrats for a job well done. I feel the book is well worth the price.
